Novitech, with its Head Office in Košice, Slovakia, is a dynamic company active in the fields of development and implementation of large scale information systems and the provision of project management services. It was established in 1989 when the political situation changed and allowed business-minded people to take the uncertain road towards becoming entrepreneurs. Company growth in the region was accompanied by the rapid expansion of computer technology in the former Czechoslovakia. The installation and implementation of LAN and Novell based solutions was a remarkable success and within a short time the Company became one of the leading firms within the Slovak high tech IT sector. The company currently employs over 200 highly trained and qualified employees working in its specialised subsidiary companies and other subsidiaries not only in Slovakia but also in Hungary and Belgium.
The objectives set during the establishment of the company are important and have remained unchanged up to this date: transfer of the latest information technologies and know-how from the most developed industrial countries and assist in the creation of a strong information technology industry in Slovakia.
The company covers the entire information system life cycle from system design to implementation and maintenance services for medium and large enterprises. These solutions are routed to achieve new solutions for company clients.
Over the past decade newly-emerged technologies have radically changed working methods. Through gathering considerable experience our internal activities are oriented towards maximizing our competitive advantage while satisfying our clients. Considerable resources are being spent on acquiring new technologies and our information system development technology is upgraded on a continuous basis in co-operation with our key business partners. Thus we are able to implement, integrate and manage large-scale sophisticated information systems.
In addition to its dedication to invest, both in technology and personnel, Novitech offers reliable services, consultation and HW/SW support. The continuous development and training of our human resources in the information system and technology areas represents an important success factor for information system implementation. The company's senior management closely follows emerging technology developments while the managers in the project teams co-operate with specialists ensuring communication on all levels. Training is provided to Novitech customers in co-operation with a partner company Novitech Partner, s.r.o. which specialises in e-learning methods. TeleDom, a newly built training centre located in the vicinity of Novitech provides nearly all types of IT training: information technologies and systems, management training, and interactive language courses via the Internet.
The award of the Quality Management System Certificate in accordance with STN EN ISO 9001 in 2009 for information system design, development, delivery and project management is evidence of the quality and positive evaluation provided by Novitech.
