In this market segment, Novitech a.s. implemented small and medium sized projects focused on BPM solutions for a wide range of business clients.

Most important projects within this market segment are the following:

  • Support and development of the EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) project of IBM Slovensko, s.r.o., for U. S. Steel Košice, s.r.o., focused on automatic invoice processing and optimalization which reduced the average invoice processing time by more then 20 days,
  • Pilot project for Slovakia: communication node, which consisted of a solution, integrating different systems. The solution was developed by pFlow s.r.o. (subsidiary of Novitech) based on the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) incorporating IBM tools: IBM MQ Broker and IBM Process Server for IBM ,
  • Pilot project performed to develop a solution for the approval of documents based on IBM WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation 5.1 (Process Serves) technology. The IBM technology was fully integrated with our user operated components - Workflow Client, Workflow Admin, and Workflow Monitor. This project is an internal development project of the pFlow company,
  • Application projects focused on Process Management and Strategic Performance Evaluation through Balanced Scorecard methodology mainly for Slovak clients (Orange Slovensko a.s., Konštrukta industry, a.s., PosAm Bratislava, s.r.o., Telegrafia, s.r.o., Lesy SR, š.p., Inžinierske stavby, a.s.). The subsidiary BPM Consulting, s.r.o. also participated in the projects,
  • Manager consulting consisting mainly of client preparation for new information system introductions and implementations for end users, such as Prefabetón Koš, a.s., or Vinárstvo VINANZA, a.s. – subdeliveries for Columbex International, a.s. (BPM Consulting, s.r.o. company),
  • Continued development and implementation of the internal innovative NPS (Novitech Project System) project,
  • Trainings and eLearning activities (managerial education courses, IT training, language courses, Consulting centre of Kosice for the University of Gábor Dénes, Budapest – prepare students for their bachelor degree in the latest information and communication technologies, deliver support in Novitech a.s. EU education projects – PROPASS, SLOVAK FP6, HUBUSKA (Novitech Partner, s.r.o. company).

In 2005, a further manifestation of the worldwide trend of enterprise entities involving process management and the deployment of BPM principals and solutions became reality. This trend has affected critical activities in the area of corporate information system implementation. The strategic know-how of Novitech a.s. in the market of BPM is the p-Business Ring which represents a complete tool set consisting of a complete methodology and software components. These tools support the permanent improvement cycle in which the process content (so-called process map) of the concerned company is situated.

The implementation of products and services within BPM is supported by the long and successful partnerships with QPR Software (Finland) and Tibco (USA) and its Staffware unit (Great Britain) which belong to the circle of leading suppliers of process management software tools.

The sales of licenses successfully expanded following the delivery of consulting activities with the purpose of implementing the most effective BPM solutions and the implementation of new information systems based on a process driven approach.

Novitech offers for the Slovak market software BPM tools accessible in the Slovak language whereas Novitech a.s. is responsible for their localisation. Smaller clients continued using the leasing solution for software tools managed through controlled access based on ASP (Application Service Providing).
