Extended pilot operation of submitting income tax returns via internet
Trial submitting of income tax return that lasted from May 2003 until January 2004 changed to extended trial. It worked with five real tax subjects at Tax Office for selected group of tax subjects from Bratislava. Extended trial consists of 100 tax subjects from five Tax Offices from Bratislava.

Agreement with The Danish Ministry of Taxation, Central Customs and Tax Administration
Novitech and The Danish Ministry of Taxation, Central Customs and Tax Administration made an agreement with the approval of Slovak Tax Authorities about taking over the VAT on eCommerce system. The main goal is to adapt and implement the system according to the Slovak legislative environment with the possibility of cooperation in placing the system to other assosiated countries.

System VIES can be put into practice
Successful trials of VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) with partners from EU proved that the VIES is ready for practical use. Anticipated date of putting the system into beta testing is in February 2004 with more trials followed. The system shall be fully operational from 1st of May 2004.
